About DeltaGard

  • DeltaGard contains deltamethrin, an insecticide in the pyrethroid family. Pyrethroids are synthetic versions of pyrethrins, which are naturally found in chrysanthemum flowers.
  • During Treatment
    • As a precaution, residents and pets should stay indoors and keep windows closed during the treatment.
    • Cover outdoor beehives, fishponds, pet food, and water dishes.
  • After Treatment
    • DeltaGard breaks down in the environment and, when applied according to the label, poses a low risk to people and animals.
