About DeltaGard
- DeltaGard contains deltamethrin, an insecticide in the pyrethroid family. Pyrethroids are synthetic versions of pyrethrins, which are naturally found in chrysanthemum flowers.

During Treatment
- As a precaution, residents and pets should stay indoors and keep windows closed during the treatment.
- Cover outdoor beehives, fishponds, pet food, and water dishes.

After Treatment
- DeltaGard degrades quickly in sunlight and, when applied according to the label, poses a low risk to people and animals.
- As a standard precaution, thoroughly wash all fruits and vegetables before consumption.
